WHAT IS INCLUDED

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

If your Cadillac vehicle is not drivable, we dispatch an assistance vehicle to make the vehicle drivable where it stands.

MOBILITY SOLUTION

As a customer, you can decide the best mobility solution that fits your needs and requirements:

  • renting car or train or Hotel accommodation:Renting car: If the insured vehicle is no longer drivable due to a breakdown, the Roadside Assistance specified is unsuccessful, and the repair at the service center to which the vehicle was towed requires more than 2 hours, the Cadillac Assistance Centre would provide you with a Rental Car. Rental Car costs shall be covered (excluding additionally required options) until repair is completed, for a maximum of 15 days (this service cannot combine with renting car or accommodation)
 
  • Train and plane: If the vehicle is no longer drivable due to a breakdown and the repair at the service center to which the vehicle was towed requires more than 2 hours, Cadillac Assistance would cover the cost of a first-class train ticket. If the train trip exceeded 6 hours, Cadillac Assistance would cover the cost of an economy class airline ticket. The covered costs are for travel of the authorized person or persons from the point of breakdown to his or her residence, or to the proven original destination. Notice that reimbursement is limited to 613 euro per person (this service cannot combine with renting car or accommodation)

  • Hotel accommodation: if the insured vehicle is no longer drivable due to a breakdown, it’s located 80 km or more from the residence of the car’s owner (or authorized driver), and if the owner (or authorized driver) need to stay overnight,the Cadillac Assistance Centre would cover the cost of accommodation in a 3 stars hotel or a hotel of similar class. The owner of the vehicle (or authorized driver) will be compensated for hotel costs incurred until repair is completed, for a maximum of 4 nights. Only the costs of accommodation are covered. Notice that extras are not included (this service cannot combine with renting car or accommodation)

  • Towing: If the insured vehicle is no longer drivable due to a breakdown and the Roadside Assistance is unsuccessful, the Cadillac Assistance Centre undertakes towing measures. The vehicle is then towed to the nearest Cadillac EV Service Centre.

DURATION

You’re covered for up to 48 months after the first registration of your EV or 160`000Km whichever comes first.

COVERAGE

Coverage is granted for damages within the geographical area of the European Union, Norway, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. Countries and emergency numbers are listed at the end of the user manual here

AUTHORIZED PERSONS

Coverage extends to the owner, authorized driver, and each authorized passenger of the insured vehicle, up to a limit of 9 persons.

WHAT IS EXCLUDED

BREAKDOWNS RESULTING FROM THIRD PARTY PARTS OR ACCESSORIES

Breakdowns resulting from the installation of replacement parts or accessories that have not been approved by Cadillac.

ACCIDENTS, VANDALISM, THEFT OR FIRE

Accidents, vandalism, theft, fire involving the insured vehicle. After an accident involving the vehicle, professional recovery to the nearest Cadillac Service Centre can be provided (cost to be borne by customer). When an accident occurs in the area in which the vehicle was originally purchased, the vehicle can be returned to that Cadillac Service Centre for repair.

MOTOR SPORT EVENTS

Damage resulting from participation in motor sport events and corresponding test laps.

OTHER

Damages resulting from force majeure, war risks, strike, impoundment, official force, official bans, explosion of objects as well as nuclear and radioactive impact.
